The highlight of the night was the ugly side of Bobi Wine who broke a beer bottle on No Creature’s head hurting him seriously just over a minor argument. This angered the night’s mcs Junior Pliers and Lions Discotheque proprietor Joseph Kiyimba who called for an early end.
As rivalry between most local artistes continues to soar, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool decided to settle theirs in a friendlier way on stage in a show dubbed Ani Asinga Ragga 2005, in which one had to prove his musical superiority upon the other.
The controversial concert took place on Sunday at the Lions discotheque, Bwaise.
Bebe Cool was first on stage and did a few songs, but mostly his latest like Awete, Talimba Yesu, Muvumenti Twagala Gugiza and his duet with Haliima Namakula — Sambagala, which threw the crowd in frenzy.
It was now time for the self declared ‘ladies’ wine’ to prove his musical might. Wine stepped on stage with the fire base crew amidst cheers from fans as he did Bam Bam and his latest Nze Wendi.
Catherine Kusaasira of the Eagles Band, Devoh of the Man U fame and Jenipher, an upcoming artiste were some of the other artistes who performed.
