NWSC, please come to Kanyanya’s rescue

SIR — On March 4, I wrote a letter requesting the National Water and Sewarage Corporation (NWSC) to help the residents of kanyanya get water.
SIR — On March 4, I wrote a letter requesting the National Water and Sewarage Corporation (NWSC) to help the residents of kanyanya get water. It has now come to my knowledge after thorough investigation why we have no water. I have found out that an employee of NWSC deliberately blocks the water before it reaches Kanyanya so that he can sell the water he collects in his huge tanks.
We are suffering because of this one man. It reminds me of the regimes of Obote and Amin where residents had to line up for sugar, soap and all other commodities. A 20-litre jerrican now costs sh500. The whole parish is at the mercy of an individual. This is unacceptable and we request NWSC to respond to our plight. We too are Ugandans.
