MBALE district has launched a home and village improvement campaign on hygiene and sanitation to fight the cholera epidemic.
The district water officer, Issa Bukoma, said many residents did not bother about their personal health thus giving chance to the epidemic to break out.
“People are careless with their health and that is why they take sanitation as a by-the-way,†he said.
He said this on Thursday during the launch of the campaign at Bukonde sub-county.
