There was no mention of the entertainment world’s Genevive Nnaji, ‘Janet’ in My first love and ‘Brenda’ in Women Affair. I believe she’s a treasure to Nigeria and a real icon in the African entertainment industry.
The diplomat should not be surprised that she could be more popular than the listed Femi Oke of America’s CNN weather report! Genevive Nnaji represents the typical experience of the African woman with no western influence in accent or appearance.
A Capital FM announcement on April 22 mentioned that Genevive Nnaji is coming to Uganda and will perform at Speke Resort, Munyonyo. The diplomat should take note of the crowds. Let the organisers take her to Jinja, Iganga or Mbale and they will be in for a surprise!
