Buturo to officiate at scribes awards tomorrow

THE winners of the first Uganda Investigative Journalism Awards will be announced tomorrow as part of activities to mark the World Press Freedom Day.
THE winners of the first Uganda Investigative Journalism Awards will be announced tomorrow as part of activities to mark the World Press Freedom Day.
Information minister Nsaba Buturo will officiate at the awards under the theme ‘Anti-Corruption Reporting.’ Over 40 entries have been received.
Vision Reporter writes that the awards are organised by Makerere University’s Mass Communication Department, the Eastern Africa Media Institute with support from DANIDA.
Dr Goretti Nassanga, the head of the department, said, “Upcountry response was encouraging.â€
