THE Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) is a sick organisation that should be overhauled if it is to help intended beneficiaries, the Gulu municipality mayor said on Sunday.

Dennis Ojwee writes that Christopher Ojera said, “NUSAF should be overhauled for it to benefit our people. Accessing free funds has become difficult for our poverty-stricken people in the north, especially in Acholi.â€
He was speaking during the World Labour Day celebrations at Kaunda Grounds in Gulu.
Ojera appealed to the prime minister’s office, under which NUSAF falls, to effect changes in the organisation.
