Avoid rival boda-bodas

It is now common practice to employ boda-boda riders to publicise events. Even private companies get boda-bodas to ride around town in special teeshirts to launch new products. It is a cheap and effective way to get outdoor publicity. It is not surprising that political parties do the same.

What is dangerous is deploying rival boda-bodas on the same day. If a soap manufacturer hired boda-boda men to promote his product while his rival was launching a new soap with a boda-boda procession, violence would be very likely.

If one private company or political party is having a boda-boda procession, then another one should not deploy rival boda-bodas on the same day.
