Kagwe, Opio look to stretch Mug lead

DANIEL Kagwe and Jennifer Opio will be looking to stretch their lead in the May Celtel Mug of Mugs contest on Saturday. <br>Kagwe is top in the men’s event by one point just like Opio in the ladies event after four rounds.

Kagwe is top in the men’s event by one point just like Opio in the ladies event after four rounds.
The Uganda Golf Club (UGC) tournament, due at the Kitante course, is sponsored by telecommunications firm Celtel Uganda.
UGC captain Kagwe secured his second win to go top of the leader board last month.
The leader is up against his old rivals including Sam Nsamba at 20 points and Fred Tumuheirwe at 15.
Charles Yokwe is optimistic he will win tomorrow to move up the leader board.
Yokwe (h/c +1) is third on the Celtel Mug-of-Mugs leader board with 17 points, four behind leader Daniel Kagwe.
In the ladies category, Jennifer Opio won the April show to take over from Alice Kego as the leader.
Opio will again come up against opponents like Regina Ddamulira and Alice Kego also enjoying a brilliant run.
The players with the highest number of points after 12 months of action will be crowned in December.
