Old students of Busoga College Mwiri have organised a big home-coming scheduled for August 13.
The new president of Mwiri Old Boys Association (MOBA), Dr. F.F. Tusubira, said a big campaign would be launched on the same day to raise sh250m.

He added that the homecoming committee chaired by Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda had also organised a memorial service for the former headmaster, the Rev. F.G. Coates, on the same day. All activities will be held at the school premises in Jinja.

Tusubira said the school had greatly benefited from the past homecomings. At last year’s meeting, Dr. Chebet working in Arusha re-roofed Presidents and Willis Houses, while the Geneva- based Dr. Kadama, pledged to re-roof Nabikamba House.

Old students and friends in the UK and USA set their target at sh90m for renovating and restocking the laboratories and the library.
