If only a few changes and guidelines were put in place soccer in Uganda should develop.

Local fans should really support local clubs just like they support clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United.

The current normalisation committee headed by Dr. James Sekajugo should perform duties they are supposed to and not selecting the national team players and yet we have a coach in Abbas.

I also advise our players to have a team spirit and not only think about money because teams like Nigeria came up because they had great team spirit which later marketed them abroad. As a result, their players earn a lot of money as professionals.

Our soccer should also be developed from the grassroots starting with the U-14, U-16 tournaments so that we can build a strong national team and our government should inject some more money into the game to motivate the players just like president Paul Kagame has injected money into Rwandese football which is now better than ours.

If the above are put in mind, Uganda will head for better things in soccer.
