Do it yourself
What you need:
- Plain, white paper
- A straight stick
- Paints, coloured pencils or crayons
- Glue or cellotape
- A pair of scissors
Cut the white paper so that it measures 29cm by 21cm. See fig 1. Carefully stick one end of the paper around the stick using glue or cellotape. See fig 2. Draw a picture in the middle of the flag and paint or colour it. You could simply draw stripes of different colours. See fig 3. Create your own flag. Can you also draw the flags of Uganda and her neighbours?
