MAKERERE College School headteacher Rose Izizinga believes the best way to restore glory in Ugandan sport is by supporting school programmes.
Izizinga who was receiving assortment of sports equipment worth sh2m from Scandinavian Express bus on Thursday said that supporting schools sports at the time of trouble in sports is the only way forward to excellence in future.
She praised Scandinavian Express country manager Faizal Mohammed for foreseeing the potential in schools.
Faizal said that the donation marked the beginning of his company’s support to various schools active in sports.
“We have been supporting clubs and other teams but it is now time for us to look at schools,†Faizal said.
