A Sabiny Roman Catholic priest was among three others ordained by Archbishop James Odongo of Tororo Archdiocese at Uganda Martyrs Cathedral in Tororo town on Saturday, reports Joseph Wanzusi.
There were ululation and jubilation as deacons Michael Korinding from Sipi parish in Kapchorwa district, Leo Magombe of Budadiri parish in Sironko and Daniel Ochom from Butebo parish in Pallisa district were declared priests in the Roman Catholic Church.
Odongo, who also ordained two seminarians Joseph Alakun and John Mesya as deacons, praised the parents of Fr. Korinding for grooming their son to become a pioneer Sabiny catholic priest.
Odongo said love and the essence of human dignity was being replaced by hatred and the showering of insults against mainstream religions in the country.
