Kayunga inmates get relief aid

AMERICAN missionaries from Oregon State, USA, have donated relief items worth sh25m to prisons in Kayunga district.
The items included 30 bags of sugar, 30 boxes of soap and foodstuffs.
Pastor Tom Kabaale of the Tosam Ministries distributed the items to the beneficiaries on Sunday.
The beneficiaries were from Kangulumira Prison, Ntenjeru, Busaana, Kitimbwa and Bulawula farm prison in Bbaale sub-county.
Reid Saunders, who led the missionary team, said the donation was one of their efforts to uplift inmates’ standards of living.
