BUKASA Air Services (BAS) owned by Lt. Col. Andrew Lutaaya, has acquired four planes.
Lutaaya, the BAS managing director and chairman, said,” We started six months ago with three planes but we have acquired a fouth plane.”
The former Special Revenue Protection Services boss, a Uganda Revenue Authority anti-smuggling unit, said BAS operates domestic passenger charters, leisure flights, regional schedule and non-scheduled flights, VIP flights and medical evacuations.
Lutaaya said arrangements had been made with Bukasa Guest House on Bukasa Islands, Kalangala to facilitate holidays and honeymoons.
BAS flies to DR Congo, Southern Sudan and Mwanza.
