DFCU Bank has connected its Masaka branch to the Bankom inter-bank national switch after launching an ATM in the area on Wednesday, giving clients access to over 30 ATMs countrywide, writes <b>Vision Reporter.</b><br>

DFCU Bank has connected its Masaka branch to the Bankom inter-bank national switch after launching an ATM in the area on Wednesday, giving clients access to over 30 ATMs countrywide, writes Vision Reporter.
Roscoe Nsubuga, dfcu Bank’s head of marketing and wholesale banking, said, “Customers in Masaka asked for the extension of service hours and we have responded to enable them transact business more efficiently.”
Willie Ogule, dfcu Group’s company secretary, said the bank’s reserve requirement at the central bank had grown to sh14b, above the sh4b legal reserve requirement.
The bank has eight branches countrywide.
