When will Masindi teachers get paid?

SIR — I am surprised at the way Masindi district finance officials are handling an issue that is likely to become a crisis. Secondary School teachers in the district have not received their June salaries!
SIR — I am surprised at the way Masindi district finance officials are handling an issue that is likely to become a crisis. Secondary School teachers in the district have not received their June salaries!
Did the Ministry of Finance disburse the funds for the salaries of public servants under the ministry of public service for all the districts?
Was a press release made to the public as is usually done or was the money diverted to fund some other activities? Why can’t the concerned local authorities like the CAO and CFO explain what is happening?
President Museveni categorically directed that all salaries of public servants must be paid by by 28th of every month. Why is masindi an exception? Does every anomaly have to be probed by the IGG?
