KCC FC might count on lead striker Geoffrey Sserunkuuma for goals in today’s epic first leg quarter-final, but, Simba believe their educated midfield will have all the answers.

Moses Basena guides Simba into attack mode against KCC on a day when perennial underachievers Police confront Masaka LC at Mandela Stadium, Namboole.

Against KCC, Basena’s side is quiet about its ambush plans. “It would be a mistake to only watch Sserunkuuma. They have a lot of good players and you must consider them all. In any case I rate it 50-50,” Basena said.

Moses Lule, Patrick Ochan and David Lukwago have been the heart and soul of Simba’s midfield and will orchestrate the attacks.

Meanwhile, the FUFA Normalisation Committee has decided they must first discuss the draft constitution before it is forwarded to FIFA.

“An earlier draft had been sent but the meeting found it fair to first discuss it again,” said FUFA secretary Isiagi.
He said that all communication from FUFA will be available at the FUFA website www.fufa.co.ug to enhance transparency.

Yesterday’s meeting was called to find a solution after a series of burst ups between committee members and a communication allegedly from FIFA, which attacked Kavuma Kabenge and protected chairman Dr James Sekajugo.
