MOSES Kipsiro on Saturday evening clocked 13 minutes 13.96 seconds over the 5000m distance to qualify for the World Championships due in Helsinki, Finland August 6-16

MOSES Kipsiro on Saturday evening clocked 13 minutes 13.96 seconds over the 5000m distance to qualify for the World Championships due in Helsinki, Finland August 6-16, reports Norman Katende.
The 19-year-old, though finished 11th in the race won by Saudi Arabian Al Outabi Moukhled, went on to qualify, improving his time of 13:28.11 at the fast paced KBC Night of athletics Grand prix II meet in Belgium. His former time was 11 microseconds short of the Group B qualifying time for the World Championship which elapsed yesterday.
Kipsiro joins Wilson Kipkemei, Dorcus Inzikuru (3000mSC), Boniface Kiprop (10000m), Alex Malinga (marathon) and Paskar Owor (800m).
