MTN storms Kabale
Kabale district had never seen anything like it and it will probably take them a while to recover.
Two Sundays ago, MTN, along with a throng of musicians, stormed Kabale and held an impromptu street bash.
Churchgoers were thrown into disarray when the town came to a standstill as the organisers started assembling a mega stage as early as 9:00am.
And when the party kicked off, there was an 'organised mayhem' as Ragga Dee, Bobi Wine, Juliana Kanyomozi, Grace Nakalema, Sweet Kid, Paul Kafeero, Phoebe Nassolo, Bucherman, Titi Tabel, Diamonds Production and KADS band, amongst others, took to the stage.
And when Bobi Wine and Juliana Kanyomozi took to the stage with their duet 'taata wa abana y'ani?' and Ragga Dee's 'mbawe', there was a surge towards the front of the stage that people lost shoes and clothing.
At this point, some of the town dwellers took advantage and started pick pocketing prompting the Police to swing into action and start buttoning the culprits.

Silk launches B&H
A long history that started in 1873 culminated into one of the biggest and wildest parties the environs of the Silk Lounge have ever witnessed.
BAT (U), through the Benson & Hedges brand, outdid themselves on Wednesday night at the launch of the B&H Gold standard.
Club's Shem Semambo attempted an Acapella of All 4 one's I swear, which ended in a croak and his counterpart Eddie Mugulusi almost fell flat trying to dance to Mega Dee's Karibu Afande. Drinks were on the house.
Artistes included Julianna Kanyomozi, Ras Ssali, General Mega Dee, Benon & Vamposs, Michael Ross and Ngoni. B&H's Crispin Achola said they were changing the face of B&H.

Kampala Casino makes 11
The air was thick with ceremonial delight during Kampala Casino's 11th anniversary. The gambling tables were covered with players.
True to its nature, betting on having a good time at the casino is an understatement because their legendary anniversaries always pull out all the stops and have guests smitten hysterically.
While last year's anniversary was held in the parking lot, this year's was at the casino with a cocktail and tête-à-tête. As the waitresses served tasty nibbles and drinks, the bonafide clients patted Bob Kabonero on the back for conquering another milestone.
Simba Sounds with lead guitarist and singer Rachael Senkebejje strummed away with a touch of old and new hits.
Most of the guests were engaged in conversation and danced to the band's sultry vibes. Taking the attention away from the corporate chitchat, some scantily dressed girls in short, shredded outfits turned heads and coerced stares from the guests as they wobbled about seductively.
The anniversary sought out both seasonal and infrequent partygoers including Roofing's boss Sikanda Lalani, Martin and Camilla Aliker, Gordon and Maureen Wavamunno, James Tumusiime of Fountain Publishers, Nick Mbuvi MD Barclays, Aimable Mpore MD utl, Lawyer Charles Odere, MTN's Tina Byaruhanga and UBLs Oscar Mulira and Juliana Mukasa.

Kasule wins sh1m
Hassan Kasule is Kampala's latest millionaire who grabbed sh1m in the Sanyu Million Shilling Bingo with Sadolin Paints. Hassan correctly guessed the Magic number on June 26, 2005 during The Jam with Big Ben between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. The correct magic number in that round was 6997. It is a simple game in which a magic number between 0 and 10,000 is chosen. All the listener has to do is guess what that number is and they win the money. If the participants don't guess right, they are informed whether their guess was higher or lower than the magic number. so, by listening, one can keep track of the guesses and know where the number lies. The Sanyu Million Shilling Bingo is sponsored by Sadolin paints.
