Securities exchange turnover drops sh95m

TURNOVER at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) slipped from sh195m last week to sh100m.<br>Like last week, dfcu accounted for the biggest trade volume after bagging sh98.2m after trading each share at sh360.

TURNOVER at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) slipped from sh195m last week to sh100m.
Like last week, dfcu accounted for the biggest trade volume after bagging sh98.2m after trading each share at sh360.
New Vision had sh2m after trading each share at sh190, a sh15 drop from sh205 last week.
British American Tobacco offered each share at sh735, Baroda sh830, East African Breweries sh3,776, Kenya Airways sh1,674 and Uganda Clays sh12,000.
The all share index gained by 65.29 points to 705.01 due to an increase in the share price of East African Breweries from sh3,393 to sh3,778.
Market capitalisation increased to sh3,436.5b from sh3,118.7b last week.
On the Unit Trust counter, a unit of the Balanced Investment Fund went for sh10,634.
