THE August issue of the Premiership Magazine has sold out, forcing a reprint that will hit the streets on Thursday morning.

The magazine sold all its 22,000 copies just two days after being released on the market last week, according to The New Vision circulation manager, Tom Wasswa (left).
Wasswa said that The New Vision, publishers of the magazine, has decided to print 15,000 extra copies on order from its various sales outlets in time for this weekend’s Premiership kick-off.

“Due to massive demand and calls from anxious agents and readers who missed out, we have reprinted 15,000 more copies,” Wasswa said yesterday. He rated the Premiership an international class soccer magazine, and said it was selling as far as Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Its popularity was attributed to rich content, a free fixture insert, good use of pictures and exhaustive analyses. It also runs a promotion with Bell Lager in which lucky readers will win 15 crates of beer monthly.

Wasswa said: “The quality of the magazine has impressed everyone. It’s every football lover’s reference point on top of giving every reader more value for their sh1000.”
