JANE Jessang could not emulate Wilson Busienei’s 10000m gold medal feat, finishing fourth in the women’s event at the World University games in Izmir, Turkey, Wednesday, reports Norman Katende.
The Kyambogo University runner clocked 36 minutes 44.14 seconds in the race won by Japanese Eri Sato. Busienei clocked a season’s best 28:27.57 to win the 10000m men’s race.
Uganda entered 16 athletes.
