CENTENARY Rural Development Bank (CERUDEB) will establish 60 Points of Sale (POS) terminals in Kampala late this year, Sylvia Zizinga, the business development and marketing manager, has said.

The selling points will enable clients purchase goods using Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards.

Zizinga said during an interview in Kampala on Monday that the customers would incur no costs for using the shopping terminals.

“Our customers have been commuting long distances to our branches. We want to save them from this by taking services nearer to them,” she said.

Zizinga said the POS would be established in shopping centres to speed up transactions and enable customers shop late without worrying about banking hours.

Ten ATMs will also be established in city suburbs next month, increasing the number to 17.
