After 15 years in the music industry, Afrigo Band’s Rudeboy Devoh, has released an eight-track album titled Alinawo Kyalina.

Devoh, 27, is famous for his pro Man-U muwanike emikono hit. He started singing in 1990 after he formed a music group in Seguku on Entebbe road. Before joining Afrigo band, Devoh had sung with Bebe Cool, Raga Dee and Shanks Vivie Dee, who is now in UK. He was nicknamed, ‘gentle raga muffin’ because of his love for international star Buju Banton.

In the album’s title song, Alinawo Kyalina, an afro-beat hit, Devoh advices men to respect and be proud of their women.

“Just like in the past, women still receive cold reception when they talk about their emancipation.

We were all created in God’s image, I don’t see why women should not be treated as equals. That’s why I if a woman finds a caring man, she should be proud,” Devoh says.
Nalumansi is a dance hall hit where Devoh praises his lover’s beauty.

“In this song, I appreciate and thank women, especially my wife and mother. I am what I am today because of my mother and if it was not for the patience of my wife, I would not have made it,” says Devoh.

Another song on the album is his popular hit, Man-U, a dance hall track for Manchester United fans. He sings Champion fee twajitwala, FA fee twajitwala and Premier tulemedeko(meaning Man-U is the best, it won Champion’s, FA and Premiership League). His other songs include Omuziki and Tukyale.
