Few Kora Award entries

Ugandan musicians do not seem to realise the advantages of international exposure that comes with participating in the Kora All Africa Music Awards. Although the deadline for sending in entries is August 31, only a few Ugandan artistes had sent in their entries for the 10th Annual Kora All Africa Music Awards. According to Jeff Ekangot, Uganda’s Kora Awards representative, eight Ugandan artistes, including Bebe Cool, Michael Ross, Moses Kawooya, Haliima Namakula, Angela Katatumba, Blu*3, Sarah Ndagire and Swamp Camp had sent their entries.
