KENNETH Opito led by example as MTN Heathens walloped LG Rhinos 26-03 to book a berth in the final of the Rugby Bell Uganda Cup. The final will be played on Saturday.

The captain for the side employed power and pace to score Heathen’s first try 13 minutes into the game. Full back Ronald Mabonga added another to end the first half 19-03 at Kyadondo rugby ground.

The Rhinos began well but a perfect pack play by the opponents pushed them out of sight.

Action was tense in the second half with players of Rhinos looking determined to turn the game in their favour.

Opito, also voted man-of-the-match, took the bull by the horns to touch down again as Mark Olweny penetrated through Rhino’s defence to wrap up the victory 26-03 after conversions by Roger Sebina.

In the second semi-final, inspirational Allan Musoke was again in the limelight with a marvellous try as Mango Kobs made light work of Celtel Pirates, beating the side 10-3, to storm the final at Kampala club.
