“HAVING grey hair does not mean I have grown old even if I am 61 years old,†Fort Portal Municipality MP Henry Basaliza (right) has said.
He said he did not get involved in leisure activities the way some of his colleagues did and that his grey hair was a result of thinking of what programmes could benefit his constituents.
“You see as my colleagues go dancing at parties, you will never see me there because every time I am thinking of what good things I will bring to my people,†he said.
This followed remarks from some of his constituents that he had grown old and it was time for him to pave way for youthful politicians.
He was on Monday addressing local council chairpersons of South Division, Fort Portal Municipality and other residents at St. Peter’s School, Virika, to thank them for electing him to Parliament.
