KATUMWA Sports Centre has reduced prices for its newly-imported pool tables by 20%.
The discount effected on September 20 will run until December 31.
The MK 2 domestic and commercial pool tables now go for sh1.6m and sh3m respectively.
“The commercial pool tables are tamper-proof so one does not have to spend more on hiring an attendant. Customers can serve themselves and the cashbox can store up to sh1.5m coins,†David Katumwa, the managing director, said in an interview last week.
The pool tables use sh500 coins.
Katumwa provides a three-year guarantee, after sale services and delivery of the 500kg tables for customers within Kampala.
The pool tables with unique features are made in England.
Meanwhile, the giant sports centre has also re-branded to enhance the company’s corporate image.
The features on the company logo have changed.
The light blue colour has changed to navy blue, while the ‘better health, better life’ slogan was retained.
All staff including the managing director don designer navy blue suits.
“We have been around for long and grown from strength to strength so we felt it necessary to give the company a new lease of life,†Katumwa said.
