STUDENTS of St. Joseph’s College Layibi went berserk soon after their soccer team suffered a 2-1 defeat against Koch Goma Secondary school in the Uhuru Cup at Pece war Memorial Stadium in Gulu on Wednesday. Layibi beat up Koch students they landed on right from the stadium.

A fierce battle between Kabira International School (KIS) and International School of Uganda (ISU) is expected at the Excel Independence swimming gala due today at Lubowa. The two schools will once again be the centre of attraction when they participate in the fourth Excel sponsored swimming competition as they try to undo each other in the seniors and junior titles.

STEEL Okello will use the advantage of his home tuff against the Kampala top guns in the Independence Day meet in Lira this weekend. The Lira top darts player needs maximum points against a tough field in the Uganda Darts Association (UDA) ranking event at Galaxy Inn.
