Bank of Baroda (BOBU) has unveiled a new brand identity, Baroda Sun, and opened its sh3.5b newly- refurbished main branch building in Kampala.

Bank of Baroda (BOBU) has unveiled a new brand identity, Baroda Sun, and opened its sh3.5b newly- refurbished main branch building in Kampala.
Bank officials said the Baroda Sun or the rising sun, was a symbol of change from day to night, which signifies that the bank is changing to give more support to clients.
Baroda’s global chairman, Anil Khandelwal, said BOBU is the best performing subsidiary of the parent bank, Bank of Baroda India.
“The bank has impressive business growth with a capital base of sh23b, deposits of sh113b, advances of sh33b, a customer base of over 51,000 and no net non-performing assets,” he said.
