Some banks have no facilities where a customer can arrange his money before banking or after withdrawing. The idlers monitor the customers who are banking and withdrawing and they eventually track them. The idlers occupy the little space in the banking hall under the guise that they are waiting for clearance.

The police and other security personnel are there as scarecrows protecting the senior personnel. Many students and parents have fallen victim of these criminals at the beginning of school term, as the concerned ministry and Bank of Uganda look on.

Customers faint because of congestion and long time in queues. Bank of Uganda is only interested in minimum capital investment, not customer’s security.
