The reigning champions on Wednesday overcame rivals Sadolin Power 62-53 at the YMCA courts, Wandegeya.
Malinga contributed 22 points, four blocks and a dunk as Falcons triumphed over Sadolin Power 62-53, which has lost two out of six games.
Falcons drew first blood scoring four unanswered points before Power found their rhythm to even the score. Sam Obol’s 12 points capped a 21-16 second quarter surge that saw Falcons hold a 36-38 halftime lead.
In the women’s league, champions Lady Bucks fought from down to edge out MUK-Sparks 53-47 in a thrilling tie. Judith Akoth and Frances Nabulobi scored 14 points apiece for Bucks as they overcame a 12-10 first quarter deficit to triumph.
