Choir to mark 75 years
THE Evangelical choir of Christ the King Church, Kampala will perform at Mapeera Bakateyamba’s Home in Nalukolongo on Sunday. The performance will be one of the activities to mark the 75th anniversary of Christ the King parish. The choir’s director, Ronnie Mukisa said they would perfrom African, classical and modern sacred songs.

Band to play at Sheraton
M-LISADA, a brass band made up of former street children, will stage a concert at Sheraton Kampala Hotel’s swimming pool on Thursday, October 20. The show will be held to celebrate the success of the members of the band in the London-based Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations. “The boys are good cabaret entertainers with extra-ordinary skills in wind instruments,” said Simon Yiga, the director of Kampala Music School.

Gospel artistes for Nakivubo
local Gospel artistes are expected to grace Pastor Bently’s Crusade at Nakivubo Stadium over the weekend. The luminaries that will minister include dance maestro Martin Seku, Pure Souls, Ray White, Heavenly Boys, Sowers and Makerere’s Full Gospel Choir.
