THE chairperson of the Concerned Parents Association (CPA), Angelina Atyam, whose daughter was among the Aboke girls abducted by the LRA rebels in 1996, has reconciled with the parents of one of the top LRA commanders, Raska Lukwiya, who fathered two children with her daughter in captivity.

Atyam, while talking to CPA support parents group and Raska Lukwiya’s mother, Christina Akello, at Ajulu primary school in Patiko sub-county, Gulu district on Wednesday, said, “I have forgiven Lukwiya and reconciled with his parents.

“I have also forgiven Kony and Otti because although Lukwiya produced two children with my daughter, he protected her and gave her food. I will bring his two children, whom I am taking care of to see you,” she said.

Atyam said they should appeal to all the LRA rebels who are still in the bush to come back and take care of their children.
