BALANGIRA secured a quarterfinal spot in the ongoing Bika bya Baganda football competitions with an easy 3-0 win over Musu at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku Saturday.
Mike Juuko, Deo and Henry Mawanda were all on target for the royal clan in the game which was delayed by a day due to a soggy ground. They take on the defending champions Lugave in the quarterfinals.
In the second game of the day, Ngabi Nnyunga had to wait for spotkicks to overcome Njaza 4-2 after normal time ended 1 -1.
Meanwhile, Mmamba clan have petitioned against Ngabi for fielding Hussein Seguya in their 1-0 loss earlier on. The player who is also known as Hussein Kato has preferred the surname Seguya with which he was registered for the competitions.
