The Bell-sponsored show was well attended. Afrigo Band gave a fascinating curtain raiser of good jazz /blues. Songs like Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World made the evening a lovely one.
Devoh excited fans when he performed Alinawo Ekyana Akwate with his wife Bamu Fazal.
Emcees Dennis Mawanda and Omulangira Ndawusi presided over the fundraising session, which attracted disappointing yields.
Only sh670,000 was collected from CD sales. Bebe Cool almost stole the show with his energetic performance of Ssente, Awete and Fire Anthem. Sweet Kid also stirred the audience with Nze Wuwo.
Artistes like Gen. Mega Dee, Eng. Kateregga, Fanda Family’s Lydia Mbabazi, Rocky Giant, Ngoni, Isha Kyomuhangi also performed.
