CHURCH projects and resources should be managed well, the Nebbi Diocese Church of Uganda Bishop has said.

Alphonse Wathokudi said Christians should learn to sacrifice and serve God’s interest before their own and discard the negative philosophy of “a goat eats where it is tied”. The bishop made the call while commissioning a multi-million community resource centre constructed by Ukuru Archdeaconary planning and development committee, with support from Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC), at Warr-Ukemu headquarters on Saturday.

Wathokudi also handed over a new motorcycle to Archdeacon Manasseh Manano and four bicycles to chairpersons of groups in communities working with the archdeaconary planning and development committee.

The bikes were purchased with support from development partners.

CRWRC representatives Reuben MacRac and Filster Odraraga attended the celebrations and promised to offer technical and consultancy services in capacity building.
