Police suspects diplomat killed self
French diplomat Jeanandra Luis Rogers, who was found dead at his home in Bugolobi on Monday, may have committed suicide, Kampala deputy regional police commander Gabriel Tibayungwa said yesterday.

French diplomat Jeanandra Luis Rogers, who was found dead at his home in Bugolobi on Monday, may have committed suicide, Kampala deputy regional police commander Gabriel Tibayungwa said yesterday.
Rogers, 49, was the Education Attaché at the French embassy.
“we don’t rule out suicide though we are still investigating the cause of death,†Tibayungwa said.
He said Roger’s body had been taken to mulago hospital for postmortem.
The Police said the body was found dangling near the dinning room, with an extension cable strapped around the neck.
“His workers told us that of late, Jeanandra had been depressed and stayed lonely most of the time.
We suspect this might have prompted him to commit suicide,†a senior CID officer said.
Sources at the French embassy said arrangements were underway to transport the body to France for burial.
