Did Obote bequeath UPC to his next of kin?

When will the name of Obote stop featuring at the top of the UPC ladder?
Can we assume that UPC is a political desert? We had obote in the 1960s, obote in the 1980s and again obote in 2005!
Is he still controlling UPC from his grave? Is UPC a family property that must be inherited by Obote’s next of kin?
How could UPC veterans who have kept the party going for the last 20 years, be sidelined and all top positions given to people who have been living in exile?
Can we also assume that if Obote had not died, he would have contested for the presidency? This is a great shame to the party and confirms that UPC is obote and obote is UPC!
How could we have the wife to the former party president heading UPC when people like Aggrey Awori and James Rwanyarare are there? It was a great blunder and shame on UPC. This shows the internal weaknesses of the party and will not stand party members in good stead.
