By Emmanuel Kajubu KABAROLE district council has passed a resolution for the creation of two new sub-counties. The sub-counties are Katebwa and Iruhura. Katebwa was created from Bunyagabu county and will include Kibate and Buneiga parishes, curved out of Kisomoro sub-county and Mitandi parish, curved out of Buhessi sub-county. The motion to create the sub-counties was moved by Buhessi councillor Tom Kihiika and was supported by two thirds of the councillors. Iruhura was curved out of Rutete sub-county in Burahya county and includes Isunga, Kasende and Nyabwenya parishes. The council passed the resolution on Tuesday during a special district council session chaired by speaker Mary Baguma Nyakwera at the Mucwa council chambers in Fort Portal municipality. Justice and constitutional affairs state minister Adolf Mwesigye, who is also the Bunyangabo county MP, and the district chairperson, Augustine Kayonga, attended the session. Councillors said the formation of the sub-counties would simplify the administration of the district and create jobs. Ends
