JOSEPHINE Nakatudde, 11, is seeking financial assistance of $7,500 (about sh13.5m) for a brain surgery in Aim Hospital, India, writes Apollo Mubiru.
Nakatudde (above) suffers from refractory seizures due to problems in the right temporal of lobe of the brain leading to epileptic fits.
Dr. Justus Byarugaba, a senior consultant pediatrician in Mulago hospital, said Nakatudde’s ailment requires precision brain surgery that will remove a tumour that would lead to cessation of the seizures which have increased in frequency.
