Kabale were crowned overall winners of the 2005 Uganda Technical and Commerce colleges national games at Masaka Technical College.

Kabale were crowned overall winners of the 2005 Uganda Technical and Commerce colleges national games at Masaka Technical College.

They collected 47 points in the men and women volleyball, netball and football events.

Kabale, who hosted last year’s games, also picked a trophy for winning the women athletics.

Masaka garnered 46 points to finish second followed by Tororo with 33 points.

Fourth was Lira (30 points), Aduku UCC finished fifth with 29 points, followed by Soroti (24 points), Bushenyi (15 points), Kichwamba (13 points) and Pakwach (ten points) in that order.

Education and sports ministry assistant commissioner in-charge of business studies, Sarah Namuli Tamale, presented trophies to the winners amidst wild celebrations.

Masaka, who beat Tororo 3-1 in the football final with Michael Ssentamu scoring two of the three goals, also picked the netball title.

Lira were over all best in athletics.
Uganda National Council of Sports (NCS) official Charles Masembe announced Aduku as hosts for the next games.
