NEBBI district council has ordered for a special audit of the Plan for Modernisation of Agriculture (PMA) funds in Akworo, Atyak, Panyimur and Panyango sub-counties.

NEBBI district council has ordered for a special audit of the Plan for Modernisation of Agriculture (PMA) funds in Akworo, Atyak, Panyimur and Panyango sub-counties.
The district speaker, David Ringe-can, recently said the exercise was embarked on following reports of alleged misappropriation of PMA funds.
He was, however, non-committal on the amount involved.
A recent report implicated the said sub-counties in gross abuse of the PMA funds. It said some had no accountabilities.
