Kony stop killing us!
Kony is well known for his murder and terrorism. The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces has tried hard to fight Kony to no avail. As a result of the war, development has slowed down in northern Uganda. This is because the money which should have been used for this is spent on buying guns. Kony and his bandits have also kidnapped and defiled many innocent children. In some parts of the north, children have to sleep on verandahs because they fear to be killed. We must all get up and fight this evil man who has caused so much hardship in northern Uganda.

Learn to love studies
I advise my fellow pupils to love all lessons especially mathematics and English. This is because without passing these two subjects you cannot get a division one. Remember, everywhere you go to ask for a job you will have to use English. Mathematics is important in daily life. When buying food in the markets, you will get cheated if you do not know how to count. So be attentive when teachers are teaching. Do not play or talk to your friend during lessons and keep on revising your work.

Stop chopping down trees
I would like to ask charcoal burners to stop chopping down trees because this can lead to desertification. This is because when trees are cut down in large number, it reduces the amount of rainfall received in an area and this soon turns the area to a desert. Stop deforestation so that we can receive plenty of rainfall and grow enough food.

I love school debates
I love inter-school debates because they help us improve our English. Debating is very interesting, challenging and teaches you how to reason. Standing up and speaking in public also builds one’s confidence.

Please stop telling lies!
I would like to advise fellow pupils to stop telling lies. You should always tell the truth because one lie always leads to another and before you know it, you will be a liar.
