KUMI — The LC5 chairperson, Ismail Orot, has ordered Banyankore herdsmen to vacate wetlands in Ngora and Kobwin sub-counties. Meeting the herdsmen’s leader, Robert Kainamura at Agu Primary School recently, Orot said moving into camps was the alternative if they had no where else to go.

SOROTI — Italian Cooperation has donated drugs and relief supplies worth sh40.2m to the internally displaced people (IDPs) in the district. Handing over the aid recently, the organisation’s field officer, Quirinius Ogwang, said more assistance was on the way. District officials attended.
