Ndere Centre for big festival
NTINDA – The Uganda Development Theatre Association Music Festival will take place at Ndere Centre, at Ntinda-Kigowa on February12th-15th. At least 39 cultural groups from all over Uganda will be competing at the gala, dubbed Harvest Festival.

Nsubuga’s video finished
KAMPALA – A couple of months after releasing his new album Fuba Okole, Saava Karim Nsubuga has now finished working on the video for the lead single, Fuba Okole.
In the video, Nsubuga vividly brings out the message of his song by showcasing notable tycoons in the city, like Gordon Wavamunno, Peter Sematimba and Charlie Lubega.

Madoxx here for Valentines
Kampala – Madoxx Ssematimba, a Ugandan reggae star based in Sweden will be here to spice up Valentine’s day, courtesy of Umoja production. He will stage two shows only. One at Didi’s World, Kansanga on the February 14 and another at Nakivubo Stadium on February 15.

Kidman to retire at 40
SIDNEY – Oscar winning Nicole Kidman told an Australian newspaper Saturday, she would probably quit acting by the time she is 40 and retire to Australia.

The 36-year old actress said her fade out from the glittering career would occur in the next five years. She said age would prompt her to refocus her life. Kidman has known no other work than acting.
