THE Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF)is to give sh15b to Kitgum district out of sh35b for the northern region for development.

State minister for northern Uganda rehabilitation, Grace Akello said this recently. Akello told the youth to emulate the Arrow Group in restoring peace in the Acholi sub-region.

“The Arrow Group in Teso and the Amuka in Lango joined hands with the UPDF and drove all the LRA rebels out of their regions.”

Akello thanked the army for rescuing 300 formally abducted people since January.

She urged the LRA rebels to utilise the amnesty and surrender.

MP Dan Kidega (youth north) was optimistic that the war would end soon.

He urged the Government create affirmative actioprogrammes for the sub-region.
