Ntare donates MBARARA — Ntare School has given 10 computers to Nyakayojo Secondary School. Nyakayojo deputy headmaster James Tweheyo said on Tuesday they had received the computers and were going to start computer lessons and link the school to the world-wide web. Computer link in Kampala has also given the school 10 computers.
Army alters GULU — Lt. Paddy Ankunda, who was the northern-based army spokesman, has been transferred to Bombo headquarters as the media and public relations officer. Ankunda has been replaced by 2nd Lt. Ronald Kakulungu. Ankunda said he would be reporting to the overall army spokesman, Maj. Shaban Bantariza.
1 remanded MUKONO — Dickson Ssentongo, 29, a boda-boda cyclist has been remanded in Luzira prison for allegedly using a motorcycle with an expired road licence. Ssentongo, of Seeta Nantabulirwa zone, appeared before Buganda Road chief magistrate John Bosco Kaggwa on Tuesday and denied the charges. The magistrate adjourned the case to march 4.
