Over 400 NRM/A veteran fighters in Nebbi district have complained about government failure to pay their gratuity and pension arrears.

LAST minute attempts by the Medical Workers’ Union executive to avert the health workers’ strike failed on Tuesday when the medical workers brought the strike three weeks forward to March 9.

Cop arrested
THE Police in Mbarara have arrested a traffic officer following allegations that he obtained a bribe from a taxi driver. Constable Ernest Baluku, 33, was arrested on Monday after the owner of the vehicle complained.
